The title of this post could also read: Is it finished? To which the answer is: Yes!!!
I can hear you ask through the ether: What is “it”?
Well, “it” is my long awaited album. I’m pleased to announce that Hope on the Horizon is finally here. I mean that literally, as earlier this week I took receipt of a medium sized box of CDs which arrived by courier.
Hope on the Horizon is available now on Bandcamp, and it’ll hit all streaming platforms on April 17th, so you have something to listen to as you head into the Easter weekend.
You might be wondering why I’ve called the album Hope on the Horizon. There’s no hidden meaning here. The songs I wrote and compiled for this album are songs of hope, songs to listen to during dark times, which some might say the world is going through right now.
What we need, now more than ever, is a message to remind us that there is hope, because hope is what stands between us and defeat. Hope is what keeps us going through the dark tunnel until we see the light. Hope is what we need when times get tough. Hope is what gives us strength to keep going. And these songs of hope are my little – but dare I say tangible – contribution to the world. So if there’s one thing I’d love for you to take away from the 11 songs on this album, it’s that though we may be navigating troubled waters, good times are within reach, good things are on the horizon, and it is our unwavering hope that will get us there.
